Advertising and Data Schedule
Google Ads, measurement, leads, and client data
- Effective 12 October 2026
- Go Forth Limited, trading as FORTH
- hello@goforth.nz
- Version 1, 12 October 2026
This Schedule applies where an Order includes Google Ads, other paid advertising, analytics, conversion tracking, audience services, lead generation, call tracking, email automation, or related data services.
This Schedule forms part of the FORTH Service Terms. If this Schedule conflicts with the Order, the Order prevails.
1. Purpose
This Schedule explains account ownership, advertising spend, management Fees, data use, measurement, reporting, client responsibilities, and the limits of advertising services.
2. Advertising accounts
- 1.
Wherever practicable, each Client will have a separate advertising account created for or owned by that Client.
- 2.
FORTH may receive manager, administrator, partner, or agency access needed to provide the Services.
- 3.
The Client should retain ownership of its business profile, analytics property, advertising account, audience data, and payment relationship with the advertising platform unless the Order expressly states another arrangement.
- 4.
FORTH will provide the Client's Google Ads customer identification number on request.
- 5.
The Client must not remove required FORTH access while FORTH remains responsible for active campaign management without first coordinating a safe handover.
- 6.
Account access does not transfer ownership of FORTH templates, scripts, internal methods, reporting systems, or Background Materials.
3. Advertising spend and management Fees
- 1.
Advertising spend is the amount charged by an advertising platform for media delivery.
- 2.
Advertising spend is not included in the standard website subscription or in a FORTH management Fee unless the Order expressly says it is included.
- 3.
The Client must approve an advertising budget and is responsible for the platform charges.
- 4.
Wherever practicable, the Client will pay Google, Meta, or another platform directly using its own payment method.
- 5.
If FORTH agrees to pay a platform on the Client's behalf, the Client must provide cleared funds in advance and may also be responsible for processing, currency, tax, and administration costs disclosed in the Order.
- 6.
A FORTH management Fee is separate from advertising spend and will be disclosed in writing before the first purchase and identified separately on invoices.
- 7.
FORTH may pause campaigns if approved funds, a valid payment method, required access, or an overdue management Fee is not available.
4. Google advertiser disclosure
- 1.
FORTH is an independent advertising service provider and is not Google.
- 2.
Clients using Google Ads should read Google's Advertiser guide: Working with third parties at https://support.google.com/adspolicy/answer/9457109.
- 3.
Google advertising costs are separate from FORTH management Fees.
- 4.
FORTH will not represent that it can guarantee a particular position on Google or that paid advertising changes organic search ranking.
- 5.
If a Google programme badge is displayed, the badge should link to the relevant Google profile so the status can be verified.
5. Campaign instructions and approvals
- 1.
The Client must provide accurate information about its business, locations, products, services, pricing, exclusions, licences, claims, promotions, and target customers.
- 2.
The Client is responsible for final approval of advertising claims, offers, landing pages, customer lists, and regulated content.
- 3.
FORTH may make routine optimisation changes within the approved strategy and budget without seeking approval for every adjustment.
- 4.
A material change to the budget, business offer, geographic market, campaign objective, regulated claim, or data source requires Client approval.
- 5.
FORTH may reject or remove content that it reasonably believes is unlawful, misleading, unsafe, infringing, discriminatory, or contrary to platform policy.
6. Tracking and measurement
- 1.
The Client authorises FORTH to configure approved analytics, tags, cookies, pixels, call tracking, form tracking, conversion events, feeds, and integrations reasonably required for the Services.
- 2.
Tracking accuracy can be affected by consent choices, browser restrictions, ad blockers, device changes, platform modelling, offline behaviour, configuration, and technical outages.
- 3.
Reported platform data may not exactly match the Client's accounting, customer management, ecommerce, telephone, or sales records.
- 4.
FORTH will use reasonable care when configuring measurement but does not warrant complete attribution of every lead, sale, or customer journey.
7. Customer information and enhanced conversions
- 1.
Advertising measurement may use first party customer information collected directly by the Client or through the Client Website.
- 2.
Where enhanced conversions or customer matching is approved, information such as email address, name, telephone number, or address may be normalised, securely hashed, and transmitted to Google or another approved platform for matching, measurement, attribution, optimisation, or approved audience use.
- 3.
Hashing changes the information into a coded value before transmission but does not remove the Client's responsibility to provide notice, obtain consent where required, and comply with privacy and platform rules.
- 4.
The Client instructs FORTH to process relevant information solely for the approved Services and warrants that:
- a.
the information was collected lawfully;
- b.
the individuals received an appropriate privacy notice;
- c.
required consent has been obtained;
- d.
the information is accurate enough for the intended use;
- e.
the intended use is consistent with the collection purpose; and
- f.
the information is not prohibited by platform policy.
- a.
- 5.
The Client must not provide customer lists purchased from another person, scraped contact details, information about children, or sensitive category data for advertising use unless FORTH has confirmed in writing that the use is lawful and permitted by the platform.
- 6.
FORTH may refuse or delete a data upload that creates a privacy, security, or policy concern.
8. Privacy notices and consent controls
- 1.
The Client is responsible for an accurate privacy and cookie policy on the Client Website.
- 2.
The policy must explain relevant analytics, advertising measurement, cookies, contact data sharing, overseas processing, access and correction rights, and how people can contact the Client.
- 3.
Where required by law or platform policy, the Client must use a suitable consent control before optional advertising or analytics technology operates.
- 4.
The Client must keep a reasonable record of consent where consent is relied upon.
- 5.
If the Client asks FORTH to install tracking that is not adequately disclosed or authorised, FORTH may delay installation until the issue is resolved.
- 6.
FORTH may provide template wording and technical implementation, but the Client should obtain legal advice appropriate to its audience, industry, and overseas markets.
9. Indirect collection and lead handling
- 1.
Leads collected through Client campaigns and websites belong to the Client, subject to the rights of the individuals concerned and applicable law.
- 2.
FORTH may receive or access lead information to operate forms, routing, reporting, attribution, follow up automations, and campaign optimisation.
- 3.
The Client is responsible for ensuring people receive the notices required when personal information is collected directly or indirectly, including any notice required by information privacy principle 3A.
- 4.
FORTH will use lead information only for the agreed Services, security, support, legal compliance, and another purpose authorised by the Client or law.
- 5.
The Client must give clear instructions about retention, access, correction, deletion, and lead routing where these differ from the standard service process.
10. Email and message automation
- 1.
The Client must have consent or another lawful basis before sending commercial electronic messages.
- 2.
Messages must identify the responsible sender and include a clear, functional, and free unsubscribe method where required.
- 3.
The Client is responsible for the source and status of any contact list.
- 4.
FORTH may configure systems and templates but does not accept responsibility for a Client instruction to send an unlawful message.
- 5.
FORTH may suspend an automation where complaint, bounce, consent, or platform risk becomes material.
11. Reporting and transparency
- 1.
Where applicable, FORTH will provide or enable access to reporting that identifies Google advertising cost, clicks, and impressions at the account level.
- 2.
Google advertising cost will be reported separately from FORTH management Fees.
- 3.
Additional metrics may include conversions, leads, cost per result, website activity, and other agreed indicators.
- 4.
A conversion recorded by a platform is a measurement event and does not necessarily confirm a completed sale, payment, qualified lead, or profit.
- 5.
The Client should compare advertising reports with its own customer, sales, and financial records when assessing return.
12. Platform policies and changes
- 1.
Advertising and analytics platforms control account reviews, policy enforcement, auction outcomes, feature availability, data models, interfaces, and pricing.
- 2.
FORTH cannot guarantee approval of an advertisement, account, feed, audience, claim, business category, or promotional offer.
- 3.
A platform may suspend, restrict, or close an account. FORTH will reasonably assist with review or appeal where included in scope but cannot require the platform to reverse a decision.
- 4.
If a platform change materially affects the Services, FORTH may recommend a workaround, replacement, revised strategy, or separately quoted work.
13. Performance
- 1.
FORTH will manage campaigns with reasonable care and skill within the approved scope, budget, access, and information.
- 2.
FORTH does not guarantee impressions, clicks, ranking, placement, leads, lead quality, conversion rate, cost per result, sales, revenue, profit, or return on advertising spend.
- 3.
Performance may be affected by market demand, competition, seasonality, website quality, Client response time, pricing, reputation, stock, geographic limits, platform changes, consent rates, and budget.
- 4.
Forecasts and target metrics are planning tools rather than promises.
14. Security and access
- 1.
Each party must use individual access, strong authentication, and appropriate permissions for advertising, analytics, email, customer management, and website systems.
- 2.
Shared passwords should be avoided where a platform provides individual access.
- 3.
The Client must promptly remove former staff and contractor access and tell FORTH about suspected compromise.
- 4.
FORTH may suspend a tag, feed, integration, campaign, or account connection where reasonably necessary to contain a security or privacy issue.
15. End of advertising services
- 1.
When the advertising Services end and the account is fully paid, FORTH will reasonably assist with removing its manager access and confirming the Client's continuing account access.
- 2.
The Client remains responsible for platform charges incurred before campaigns are paused or access is removed.
- 3.
The Client should not assume that cancellation of the FORTH management service automatically cancels media spend. FORTH and the Client must confirm campaign status in writing.
- 4.
Custom reporting export, migration, reconstruction, training, or transfer support may be separately charged.
- 5.
FORTH may retain limited campaign, billing, consent, security, and service records for lawful business and compliance purposes.
